Fame Lady Gaga perfume - a fragrance for women 2012

We all know it and this proves it once again: the least money for a celeb scent goes to the fragrance itself. The most money to the pr, the vidclips, the ads in glossy mags, the packaging and the mere cents that are left over are for a meh frag. But sold at celeb prices.

Never thought I'll say they but I start to get a bit of respect for Britney and Jessica. I don't like 'Fantasy' and 'Fancy' but at least they has longevity and a bit originality. And it doesn’t pretend to be more than it is :a sugary fragrance, no great ‘Perfume Art’ like Lady Gaga crows. ‘Fantasy’ and ‘Fancy’ are vanilla milkshake fragrances and not pretending being anything more. ‘Fame’ is a weak fruit floral but pretending to be a fantastic true classic perfume. Come on! Shocking, revolutionary, push pull technique, semen and blood, smelling like an expensive hooker… Nope. Nada. Zilch. Hot Air.

Let's look at the notes. I'll just name them in normal language not in pretentious 'arty farty' Gaga-speak, like ‘Tears of Belladonna’, ‘Black Veil of Incense', 'Crushed apricot,' drops of honey'... (not simple honey, but 'drops of honey', does that smell different?)...

OK. The fragrance notes of ‘Fame’, please! ‘Lady’ Stefani ‘Gaga’ Germanotta says that her revolutionary concept has no real fragrance pyramid. Because of the revolutionary 'push pull technique'. Which simply doens't exist. It is a Gaga-fantasy. Like the so called makers of this frag: 'Das Haus House Paris'. Fantasy or lies, you choose. Anyway 'Fame' is made by perfume giant Coty. Yet before launch she sent pr to the trade press in which she said that there was a fragrance pyramid. Several Fragranticians who work in the perfume business have, before me, described that fragrance pyramid of ‘Fame’ is. This is a simple fruity floral with a simple pyramid. Here it is as described also by some knowledgeable Fragranticians:

Top: Belladonna, Apricot, Saffron.Middle: Orchid, jasmine Base: Incense, Honey.

First of all, everybody has to agree: stripped bare of pr babble, smokescreens of verbal ballyhoo and ad campaigns, as a fragrance this is a simple, anorexic, fruity floral hyped into stupidity. Initial reports said: there would be blood, semen… in Gaga’s ‘shocking, earth shattering revolutionary out of this world, incredibly fantastic groundbreaking, jaw dropping' fragrance. Now what do we, paying customers, ultimately get? Apricot, orchid and jasmine! With sugar called ‘honey’. Can you believe that? There is one ‘special note on paper: the ‘Belladonna’-note. Which is a bogus, false note listed just for shock effect Gaga-style. (see later). Secondly the notes that could make this a bit different from your zillionth fruity floral could be interesting in the fragrance –saffron and incense- well, you don't smell at all. I only get a whiff of incense and a suspicion of saffron.

OK: the much hyped Belladonna. 'Belladonna' is a poisonous plant that is also dubbed 'Deadly Nightshade'. It has been used throughout history as both an anesthetic, a beauty product and a poison. One leaf of belladonna can kill an adult. Diluted belladonna was used centuries ago as a crude 'beauty product' because It can dilute the pupils, like those of a junkie. That gives the woman/man an 'doe eyed'-look, which, countless scientific studies have showed, arouses men when they see it. Like when they see cleavage or some great legs or ‘derrière’ in a tight fitting jeans. Nature’s forces at work. So that’s why the women in manga strips have enormous eyes. It attracts male viewers. And in cartoons the good girl has big eyes and the bad girl small yes with small pupils. And that’s why women mostly risked their lives by taking diluted belladonna, to attract a guy. You have to suffer to be beautiful, right? Some die to be beautiful, some only want to be a beautiful corpse. Belladonna will do the trick. Because of this ‘shocking’ story, Gaga choose this note. Not because of the smell.

Because what does real 'Belladonna' smell like? The plant Belladonna, according to countless botanical guides, has an acrid, very unpleasant, gag inducing smell like burned plastic. And I mean not ‘clean plasticky’ but sour-choking smoldering plastic bottles that have been half burned and melted. Putrid chemical. So that means that 'belladonna' in ‘Fame’ is just a 'name ingredient', a 'dummy ingredient', a fantasized ingredient. Because, of course you can’t smell the vomit inducing ‘belladonna’ in the super clean 'Fame'. Great story, no smell. Like ’cure all’ snake oil peddlers. There is not shadow of a smell of belladonna stench in this clean, light fruity floral that is 'Fame'. The saffron. A real taste maker in many fragances. It smells earthy, meaty, musky... here it is listed but I can smell only a faint trace of it. A suspicion of saffron. And the incense is very muted, almost undetectable. A faint whiff of incense. Which makes fame a breezy fruity floral with nothing ‘dark’ in it

So what does ‘Fame’ really smell like, apart from all the hype, the ads, the image? What does that ‘revolutionary, ground breaking etc.’ fragrance smells like? Honestly: weak sugared flowers and fruit. A generic sugary fruity floral. That’s all folks. Nothing ‘revolutionary' about it. Which proves once again: ‘Don’t believe the hype.‘Fame is a weak generic, by the numbers whisper of a fruity floral fragrance. That’s what’s left apart from all the media hoopla and hyperbole. For me the important thing about a fragrance is the fragrance, not the bottle, the packaging, the image, the ‘story’. If you like Lady Gaga, buy a CD or download her music or video’s. But as a fragrance, this doesn’t even stink! It is so bland, so non descript, so anonymous, taht it can't even reek or irritate! That in itself is shocking, because it comes from Lady Gaga, the shock-dominatrix. ‘Lady Gaga does Anonymous’, who would have thought that possible? But here she is, with a frag like thousands of others just like it. She should have called it ‘Anonymous Nr 1’ instead of ‘Fame’. Which is as lame a name as the fragrance is tame.

When I applied it I first got a full blast of very artificial cheap smelling jasmine and orchid extract. The indolic ('dirty') aspect of the jasmine which you would expect for Gaga to be accentuated, is cleaned or just wasn’t there. Cheap jasmine extracts have no indolic aspect. The cheap extract is too linear. And real jasmine extract is too expensive for the penny pinching Coty who sees Gaga’s frag as a cash cow like she sees here frag as a cash cow, paid by the public. This is a clean sweet un-peppery jasmine. Finally some faint incense can be smelled with a lot of effort. But very faint. And that’s it. The show is over. It was a dud. Nothing noir, nothing original, nothing ‘Gaga’. A bad, cheap experience. Not even a ‘cheap thrill’, the frag is too generic and weak. Where Gaga is all about strong shocking thrills. Except in her own fragrance.

So you smell sanitized or cheap linear jasmine-orchid-sugar-apricot and traces of saffron and incense. That's it, the much hyped 'blood semen, most original and best ever etc' 'Fame. It would be a heavy intoxicating fragrance. It is a very light fragrance. The longevity is short. 1 hour on my skin and the sillage is very weak. This is very close to the skin. Again totally opposite to the image, the promise and the pr campaign by Gaga.

How about the workings on each level? Gaga says that there are no levels, but in reality: it is built like a classic fruity floral and the notes come out this way. Only some notes you don’t or hardly can smell: belladonna (bogus), saffron, incense. The three levels or the notes that can be detected are so bland that there can’t be interaction between them, levels or no levels. In the base the sugar dominates, in the middle it is orchid and jasmine , the top is apricot with a whiff of saffron. So it is jasmine, orchid, apricot and sugar (called ‘honey’ for effect). Nothing to give it some depth and originality. And then: evolution on the skin? Zilch! Zero. Nada for Gaga!

It’s a totally hyped up a totally linear fragrance. 'Fame' is a fantasy tale. An illusion of a frag. Coty, the makers, make sure it is made as cheaply and generic as possible. Why Gaga, who must have smelled this before release, hinges her fame on this ‘Fame’ is simple: cashing in. Money, Greed.

Fans of Gaga’s ‘shocking image who buy this based on th arty farty pr clip for the frag and think that this will be as original and creative as Gaga-the-artist, are in for a shock. Dark, mysterious, original? Hell, Dita von Teese and Kat von D's fragrances are tenfold as original with a 100 time less pr money. If Gaga had delivered a 'meh' fragrance you could maybe have forgiven her because of the original hype and clip. But this is beyond meh: this is bland, faceless, a grey fragrance. ‘Fame’ is barely better than the cheapest non-brand drugstore scent. It is a fragrance not for ‘Little Monsters’, as Gaga-fans like to call themselves, but for shy ‘Wallflowers’.

The proof is in the pudding. Honestly: do you really think that Lady Gaga wears this herself and not ‘Boudoir’ or ‘’Hypnotic Poison’ or Lutens’ ‘Chergui’? Of course not! Her fragarnce ‘Fame’ is just for fans to give her money. It has nothing to do with Gaga’s own taste. This smells as ‘black’ and ‘Lady Gaga’ in the sense of deep, mysterious, oriental, creative, ‘dirty’, shocking… as ‘White Linen’ by Estée Lauder.

So this will end up soon in the discount bins. No doubt about it. I would advise everybody to wait a few months and they'll throw ‘Fame’ at you for a few cents. Rightfully, because this it is weak artificially scented alcohol, pure and simple. No longevity, no sillage, not strength, no originality. Or course you can be so cynic to say that is exactly what Gaga wanted: to show the shallowness of celeb scents. If so: she did a truely brilliant job because celebs scents don't come more generic than this. If she wanted to shock by making one of the weakest, most generic fragrances ever, she suceeded with gusto. The shock here is that Gaga isn't capable of being creative with her own much hyped frag. It falls as flat as a CD of... (fill it in yourself).

This is a ‘Pretend Frag', a 'Showbiz Frag': all illusion, nothing real. Nothing to do with perfumery art or craftsmanship.

By the way, why do all these singers and dancers think they can make a fragrance? Do ‘Noses’ like Dominique Ropion, Annick Menardo, Jacques Polge… think they can sing and dance because they can create genius fragrances? No. But showbizz ego’s are unreal and blown up beyond reality, we know that. And ‘Fame’ proves it baby one more time.

So to sum it up: ‘Fame’ is a generic run of the mill Coty-by-the-numbers fragrance. A weak, soon-to-be-forgotten anonymous fruity floral. Gaga sold her fragrance soul to the devils 'Greed' and 'Money', and you pay for it.

For the record, I don't care about Lady Gaga, I don't care about Madonna. I don't care about Christina Aguilera or Dita von Teese or Kat von D. They leave me indifferent. I care about good fragrances. And this is not a good or original fragrance, simple as that. It is even beyond stinking, because it is too weak to stink. I doesn't even have the power to stink, the power to shock, the power to be different. It is the ultimate 'meh'-frag. But Gaga laughs all the way to the bank. With your money in her pocket.

It sucks. Big Time.

Eau de Gaga Lady Gaga perfume

I just bought my bottle of Eau de Gaga today from The Fragrance Shop UK. The perfume isn't supposed to launch here until the 17th September 2014 but the shop assistant sold me a 30ml bottle anyway!

Eau de Gaga is the new eau de parfum from Lady Gaga and the Haus Laboratories. The perfume comes in 30ml, 50 ml and 75ml. I had hoped to buy the 50ml but as the perfume hasn't been officially released yet, the store didn't have its full stock in. However, I'm not complaining, i got to buy it early!

This perfume looks a lot less conspicuous than Fame did. No alien claw/egg here. Instead the packaging is sleek and adult. The bottle is made of solid glass and looks and feels substantial. As someone who was/is a big fan of Fame, i must confess i wasn't wholly sold on the packaging for that one, as i didn't believe it gave a good impression of the scent within, which was actually quite sweet. No black fluid here either, it's just the outside of the bottle that's painted black.

So, onto the scent- My first impressions upon spraying this perfume onto my wrists was of the citrus scent coming through. Although it's not in the notes, Earl Grey tea is listed as one of the ingredients (this perfume contains over 30 natural ingredients including oakmoss, bergamot and patchouli) and this is very prominent on my skin. Seriously, I can not get over how much this perfume smells like slightly-watery tea!

The rest of the opening is very fresh (mint) and definitely gives off an 'I-just-stepped-out-of-the-shower' vibe. I was beginning to feel a little disappointed at the tea-smell, however after letting the perfume waft for 10 minutes the middle notes started to come through.

The middle notes bring forward the white violet scent. White violet is the strongest smelling flower in the violet family. The opening citrusy tea doesn't go away fully but fades somewhat into the background to be overcome by the violet making, to my nose, a much pleasanter smell. This stage lasts around 30-40 minutes on my skin.

The base of this perfume is cool leather and sandalwood. The leather note is actually quite accurately depicted here, unlike in some other fragrances. This is my favourite part of the fragrance. The citrus and mint notes seem to permeate throughout this scent and they're still present in the base however, now they have darkened somewhat. I get quite strong whiffs of leather and woodsy notes here and there, making this fragrance smell surprisingly sophisticated.

*A little trick I've learnt, is that this perfume along with Fame really reacts to heat. If you apply it to your wrists and then rub them, the fragrance will skip most of the opening and go straight in at the leather notes. So if the tea-smell puts you off, try this! The same also applies to the sweetness of Fame.*

One criticism i have about this perfume though, is that the notes could be stronger. The silage here is moderate (to about an arm's length away) which is nice, but the combination of the actual notes themselves makes them come across as a little weak, if that makes sense. Okay, so fresh citrus scents aren't really known for their potency but seeing as how Fame was such a heavy scent (especially for a celeb fragrance), i must confess that i was expecting something that packed a bit more of a punch than this does. It's a little weak for me, however if you found Fame to be headache-inducing, Eau de Gaga is spectacularly different! The transition between each of the three phases is subtle and so some people have complained that this scent is too linear, but they just need to get their noses in and take a great big sniff!

Eau de Gaga is marketed as a unisex fragrance, aimed for "the adventurous woman and the man who loves her" according to the tagline. I think this is accurate. In my opinion this is definitely a more masculine fragrance. There are some moments in the middle, when that white violet comes into play, that the scent becomes more feminine, but overall this *will* take an adventurous woman to pull it off! I am a woman and personally i quite like and am quite willing to wear this fragrance but i know many women who will be put off by the manliness of it! This is not your typical cheap fruity-floral tweenage girl scent.

On the other hand, for the gents who complained that Fame was too girly for them (it was, Fame was not a unisex fragrance despite some early marketing claims) this might just be the answer to their prayers.

I also would question the decision to release this perfume during the autumn/winter season. The freshness of this perfume along with the citrus notes to me, would be better suited to warmer weather as it is a cool, almost-but-not-quite aquatic scent, like for around springtime. However, perhaps the more masculine nature of this scent means that for the women, wearing it during the colder months stops it from becoming too oppressive. Men should probably wear this during spring/summer though.

That's all i have to say on this first impressions review of Eau de Gaga. I will update to give its full longevity when i've worn it around for a bit. Overall, this is an interestingly different fragrance from what i normally buy. It has it's drawbacks, but i think i am really beginning to like the sexy masculinity of this perfume. This is the scent of the strong, assertive woman who's not afraid to take a few risks. It's definitely the most masculine scent in my collection! It's almost the total opposite to everything Fame was, and although i'm not sure that this has knocked Fame off my No.1 spot just yet, I am looking forward to spending more time trying this scent out and getting to know its composition better.

*UPDATED FOR LONGEVITY* Full longevity is around 8-9 hours on my skin. Amazing. For comparison, Fame was around 6 hours.

Eau de Gaga - New Perfume From Lady Gaga ~ New Fragrances

New Fragrances

by: Elena Knezhevich

"EAU DE GAGA is an enigmatic scent, fusing daringly diverse elements to create a beguiling allure. The fragrance is built around a beautiful heart of white violet, an intoxicating flower that fuses male and female attractions. To counterbalance this opulent woody-floral intensity, the scent opens with an invigorating burst of sparkling lime that exudes dynamic vibrancy. And it evolves into a sensual trail based on leather, adding a primal quality to the scent."—ladygaganow

EAU DE GAGA EDP 15 ml, 30 ml, 50 ml and 75 ml will be available from September 2014.

Lady Gaga has announced the release of her second fragrance, Eau de Gaga. Lady Gaga develops her perfumes in The Haus Laboratories, a division of Haus of Gaga, in association with Coty, Inc. The first perfume, fruity floral feminine Fame, was released in September 2012. The new Eau de Gaga has been suggested by Lady Gaga on her Twitter accont as “an extremely sexy and arousing smell for all genders.”

The singer described Eau de Gaga as a clean fragrance composed of the three things she uses every day: sparkling water, lime and leather. She also added that Eau de Gaga is “inspired by the adventurous woman and the man who loves her.”

The fragrance is housed in the black square bottle with a rectangular cap. The name of the fragrance is engraved on the golden plate on the front of the flacon.

I haven't seen may reviews on this yet. I tried it about a week ago. To me this is a very dry green leather fragrance. It is an acquired taste and I can see primarily men drawn to this I suppose. I am sure some women may like it but it is so bitter and dry I personally don't find it appealing. I would not blind buy it if you haven't tried it as you may be surprised how dry and bitter it is.

Fame was a humongous disappointment for me , all that hype for a "crazy" "groundbreaking" scent , what we got was a bog standard fruity-tooty juice. I never did end up buying a bottle of Fame , even though I would of liked the funky "Mugler-esq" bottle with the black jiuce on my perfume shelf.

I really do like the sound of this " Eau De Gaga". Love leather and violet notes , and I could do with several new woody/oriental for the A/W season. I wont get my hopes up too much after "Fames" flop, but I do hope to be surprised as this scent does sound right up my street.

I hope her "people" have done their homework this time , and read the online reviews on here ( the BEST perfume review site of them all!). If they have they will know how cheated us Parfumistas felt over Fame. Lets see if they have given us a stronger, sexier , classier juice this time.

I do like the niche appearance of the bottle and box. Unisex is all good with me too , as I do enjoy wearing mans scents. Im surprised that other celebs didnt do "unisex" before , especially when the number crunchers take stock of CK 1s huge sales/profits. ( V popular in the 90s and still sells well today)

Ahhh ...I really want this to be what Fame was not !!(we shall see, i await it's Uk release and will go into Boots for a good spraying!)

blueneon is right.I see the number 001 on the box.

floralbby98

This perfume looks very boring to me, as the boxing isn't special or anything. I expect it to be very musky and maybe suitable for night time. Then again it is Lady Gaga so you never really know what to expect, so I think I will be trying this perfume.

Aug152014

veda

I don't like the packaging at all.Nothing to impressed me.

Aug142014

Ouch!

I don't like the sound of this at all. The notes sound too juxtaposed. You never know though...on skin it could be lovely. I just think it sounds weak before it's even started. Where's the OOOmph??

I'll still be trying this out when it comes out.

:)

Arbre Amer

Bottle looks good, and white violet sounds interesting enough. The rest, so and so. I will try this the instant I see it land on a shelf no doubt!

Welp! Coming to France next month, USA in 2015

Can not wait to purchase it! Looks lush!

@AmoreProfumiLady Gaga stated on Twitter, "This is just Eau De Gaga No.1"This definitely sounds like she's planning on making a line. This one she describes as "Timeless" and "Elegant". I can see how she would want to keep the doors open for a variety of different inspirations.

I agree, Rogue Men and Eau de Gaga No.1 are two I'm very much looking forward to getting!

Aug102014

AmoreProfumi

Ok I'm kinda excited to try this beings I love leather && violet notes...&& I also love the idea of a unisex fragrance beings that's what I mainly go for or woman's...I just hope this is uniquely different && doesn't remind me of another...I really like how simplistic that bottle is but maybe a little to simplistic it also reminds me of another bottle design I've seen, it's a toss up now want to test Rihanna's Rogue for Men hopefully I'll like one of the two. Can I ask what's the reasoning behind the 001 sorry if that was explained...is she going to have a line or what? Thanks! :)

Update: I almost forgot Pharrel's "Girl" (also unisex 7& with a violet note && teamed with CDG) hopefully one of the 3 will win my heart.

Aug102014

lister

Lime notes? What type of lime?Fresh or dried? The bottle looks very familiar, very close to Tom Ford's design; not sure if RED carton box goes very well with a statement that this fragrance is for both genders. Anyhow, can't wait to smell it!

Aug102014

mirul

The bottle look so niche

Aug102014

mikemuscles21

Although I do prefer strong leathery masculine fragrances. I actually find the notes as they are described here, to sound butch. This sounds like more of a masculine frag. Although you never know until you try it.... although "Eau De Gaga is def not a butch name !

Aug092014

SolangeN PerfumeLoveKK22

Rihanna and Lady Gaga are starting the unisex trend in the celebrity category!! Soon every celebrity will be launching a unisex scent... It's actually smart, It will appeal to both sexes which will bring in more money for the companies...

Aug092014

Malibu

Fame seems to be a love it or hate it fragrance and I'm on the love it side, so I've been impatiently waiting to see/smell what Lady Gaga, Haus Labourites, and Coty did next...

So far I'm thinking yay: violet is my favourite flower in scent, I've really liked fragrances that have used leather accords, and the only fruit mentioned so far is fresh not sweet.

Aug092014

Jomoves

I loved the very original bottle she had for her first fragrance, but thought the juice was disappointing.

I'm hoping for the reverse this time around as I'm a bit disappointed in bottle ...

Also, what is going on with that publicity photo? She looks almost nothing like that now.

Aug092014

westernlady

After the performance of Fame, I think the packaging was revamped so that it looks like it belongs in department stores. The only problem with that is those fragrances generally won't have the same buyer. If uniqueness is her trademark, she should stick with that.

However, that being said, I do hope that the fragrance itself is more interesting than the packaging. In the last one, the packaging was more interesting than the fragrance. Lime and leather does sound more promising.

Aug092014

gashdown

If it ends up being a wet fart, at least this time around it won't have been hyped for two years before its release...Fame was to perfumery what Chinese Democracy was to rock music. 'nuff said.

Aug082014

ElectricLady66

the bottle looks like the Armani Prive bottles. I'll try it.

Aug082014

avonman

Wow I'm REALLY Surprised she released a second perfume at This Point...I mean hasn't her first one 'FAME' been pulled from All the Dept. Stores a long time ago and ended up in Discount Retailers??

Aug082014

Natalie Carter

I'm a huge little monster so, i'm like 'yaasss' or 'slayyy' lol..... But really i'm very excited to see this one though. The bottle really resembles By Killian bottles and it is not very Gaga. It looks expensive as **** and i just hope i can afford it. The notes look interesting and i don't think it will be sweet like Fame. I look forward to have this soon. Paws up❤️❤️❤️

Aug082014

juanma

Aug082014

Blueneon

Looks like a winner to me.The notes sound like a wonderful combination! Lime and leather are two of my favorite notes in a fragrance. To hear they're both in this, and with woody notes, really excites me!

The bottle looks gorgeous to me, I don't know what you guys are talking about. It's very simplistic, which to me is very classy and elegant. I definitely appreciate this look Gaga went for. It will look beautiful on my shelf!

Basically I'm thrilled by this! Very excited to purchase Eau de Gaga!

Aug082014

chickenpotpie

So basically violet, lime, leather. Considering one of my favorite violet leather perfumes is Jolie Madame, I'll give it a sniff.

her last one while not terrible, wasn't to my particular taste. Glad to hear that no belladonna made it to the new one. ;-)

Aug082014

la belle noiseuse

It seems her "people" did their homework.*cackles*

Not interested, not going to test it. I am still scrubbing the polymers from inside my nostrils from the time I sniffed her first offering. Eeek.

Aug082014

Rayze

I don't know why, but I've been losing interest in her.I still wear Fame often, since I truly enjoy it, though.

I want to love this really badly. I mean, it has lime. I LOVE lime.But... Violet...Leather...At least it's not the usual fruit-floral-musk trifecta. :/

I'll try it, but I probably won't buy a bottle. The bottle design is truly depressing though, compared to beautiful alien design of Fame, it just falls flat.I guess I could fool people into thinking it's Tom Ford?

Aug082014

blueviolet

So what if the bottle is a bit similar to other bottles? The perfume market today is saturated and therefore render bottle designs and note combinations almost impossible to be groundbreaking. I will test this, I don't care if it's a celeb scent.

Aug082014

asher.jessie

She didn't rip anyone off with that bottle. It's a black rectangle.

It's called minimalism.

You can't copy anything that is minimalist.. you can copy minimalism, but not something that is minimalist.

Aug082014

Enye

I can't wait to smell this! I'm a huge fan of hers, and I really liked Fame aswell. Yaaas Gaga!

Aug082014

jeca

I think with this presentation they want to jump higher on the shelf for more mature audience.

...and leather is unmistakable for that too.

Aug082014

edwardnr17

I'm gonna give it a try, but I was pretty let down by fame.

Aug082014

Arabian Knight

She totally ripped off the by Kilian bottle design and presentation with the box.

I think her perfumes epitomizes everything I hate about her. She's just an amalgamation of ideas stolen from better artists who have come before her.

Pathetic.

Aug082014

jeca

Now looking at the official photo it looks to me more like Chanel Noir.

Aug082014

kingderella

Why not... I'm gonna give it a try. The description sounds potentially interesting; I like unisex fragrances; and Gaga, as obnoxious as she sometimes may be, generally tends to get things right every now and then. And the ad is nice :)

The bottle is boring, tho.

Aug082014

jeca

;o) quite standard presentation, it is how 'niche' fragrances by luxury brands now look: Tom Ford, Dior, Dolce&Gabbana etc...

Aug082014

APassionateJourney

The bottle and box has been recycled by COTY. Just google Victoria Beckham's Signature bottle and box. They just dipped her bottle in black paint. Same top, same neck, same plaque in the middle with the name, same ring around the neck, etc.
