Дух Бвембы - Задание - World of Warcraft

Like many others, I was having a very hard time trying to complete this quest. You do in fact need to complete all of the other quests you get from Bwemba. The key, though, is that when you reach the end of the chain and obtain the quest Booty Bay's Interests, the emissary, Vol'jin, is standing there as well. You need to stay there for 30 seconds to a minute in order for Bwemba's spirit form to register he is there. An event will trigger, they will speak to each other, then the quest will complete. Hope this helps.

Can you complete this quest line while being hated with the Steamwheedle Cartel (Booty Bay)? I've completed every quest in the chain up to talking to Vol'Jin in Booty Bay, but after that nothing happened and nobody will give me a new quest.

So I discovered that she can fly, as I suppose astral projections are wont to do. I was cruising southbound over the treetops of Elwynn Forest, which quickly gave way to the tropical jungle of Stranglethorn Vale. I then had a brief moment of "AAAAAAH WTF" when something large and transparent popped into view right behind my character and in front of my screen. At first I thought one of my mini-pets had glitched or something, until I saw the big white question mark. Bwemba was flying behind me!

Therefore, I felt that it was necessary to take her on a scenic visual tour of the peninsula, for recon purposes, in order to help her decide where best to fight off the Zandalar menace.

(Or because I was tabbed out while typing this and nearly flew to the south pole when not looking...)

Ugh! What happens to the people who are hated with Booty Bay? I cant even get the quest!Any suggestions that are quicker than grinding bloodsail buccaneers?

My issue is that I could not find the LOCATION of said darkspear emissary.

Turns out it is Vol'jin, and he is in Booty Bay near the flight paths. Bwemba will be with you, and she will conversate with Vol'jin. Stay there for about a minute or so. You should receive quest completion.

Hindsight is 20-20. Wish I knew this last night, would've saved me about an hour or two.

It turns out that you actually CAN be Hated with Booty Bay and turn Bwemba's Spirit in if you're very, very persistent. I managed to do so by waiting for the Booty Bay Bruiser that patrols the top of the tavern where Vol'jin is to path down into the tavern. I then flew next to Vol'jin and was lucky enough to have Bwemba's Spirit register that he was there. During their dialogue, I did wind up with aggro on the Bruisers few times and was shot backwards, but I just flew out of range to drop combat and flew back in each time. It took a LOT of patience and luck, but it's possible!

So. If your hated with Booty Bay because you got the Bloodsail Admiral Title is there anyway possible to get this quest complete?

The Darkspear Emissary they speak about is Vol'jin standing next to Baron Revilgaz. All you have to do when you pick up this quest is head down to booty bay where the boat is the building. Vol'jin is up top. Stand next to him with your spirit and she will automatically talk to him. you just have to wait for them to finish speaking.

I handed this quest right after i got it (i went to BB and handed in) because i taught its some prequest, and now i am not able to do the others. Does anyone have similar problems, or have solution for this ? Thanks.

Okay here is my issues.. i lost my SPIRIT.. and i mean i left the zone logged and came back and she didn't reappear i went back to baron in bb.. and nothing.. so i dropped the quest figured i would reappear.. but its in a phase or something.. so now i don't have the quest cant find the quest and really want my panther cub plz someone help

You also need to make sure the spirit of Bemba actually lands when you get to Vol'jin. As she floats when she follows you, she won't 'register' Vol'jin's presence when you get to him, if she is still in the air; you may need to literally stand on top of Vol'jin to get her to land.

Then, as the others said earlier, simply wait til their conversation finishes.

I'm hated with booty bay and easily turned it in, since the guys at the edge of the boat you can just stay mounted up in the air.

If the bruiser agros you just quickly fly up out of range.

Quick how to: This cant be turned in anywhere in Orgrimmar, you will be able to turn this in in Bootybay when you have completed the quest chain in Stranglethorn.

Wait about 30 secs after taking the quest Интересы Пиратской Бухты and Bwemba will get a question mark over her head.

If you're still having trouble getting Bwemba to complete the quest, just run Bwemba inside the door and back out. This will instantly trigger her conversation with Vol'jin.

Edit: This was suggested by a GM, and worked like a charm.

A problem I had, that I think at least one person in the WoW may have experienced is that I started the quest chain, and part way thru (or maybe it was after I completed but before I made it back to BB), I started ZG with some guildies, who shared with me in the instance....so....Bwemba never had a chance to do the "event" that was mentioned above. If this was the case for you, drop the instance quest, and then pick it back up. gl

I solved all quests, but STV still appears Phased (trolls battleing in grom'gol etc).Kinda Annoying cuz Zeppelins aint working, and so are the Fly Masters.

Anyone else got this Problem?

After you turn this quest in, Baron Revilgaz offers a followup (Booty Bay's Interests) to go into ZG. Don't worry if you are hated, you can also get it/turn it in ZG with Overseer Blingbang.

Bwemba going AWOL seems a common thing, anyone have the problem that Vol'Jin just isn't there? All preceding quests completed and relogging, dismounting, running in and out of door all tried - the guy just isn't standing where he should be :(

Still phased for me too.Also, if you have the last one, and Vol'jin is there, but the spirit isn't - fly out a ways and he will reappear.Then go in slowly.If he keeps disappearing you may need to land and walk in to have him follow. That's what worked for me in the end.

I'm having the same Problem I can't see Vol'Jin at all. Do I need to complete another quest before I'm able to see him or did I need to take Bwemba to some other locations before hand?

This quest was bugged for me so badly that I ended up having to have a GM fix it for me. I was on the part of the chain where I'm supposed to take Bwemba to Vol'jin, and he wasn't anywhere to be found. This is how badly it was messed up: Their logs said I had completed the quest, yet I still had it in my log, incomplete, with directions saying to find the Darkspear Emissary. It was driving me NUTS being unable to finish this.

If it's bugged for you like it was for me, your best bet is to talk to a GM!

If your ghost is just standing by Baron Revilgaz because you flew to Vol'jin on your mount like I did, I found she did not complete the quest. I had to walk down to the flight path guy then walk back up to Vol'jin and it completed then

I don't think anyone has mentioned this before, but if you have an addon that resummons companion pets for you, such as Random Companion (or maybe it's just this addon), turn it off. Otherwise the spirit will keep disappearing, as the addon keeps trying to resummon whatever pet you had out last when a quest companion appears, even if you dismissed the pet manually.

I've had the same problem with other quests that use the companion slot, such as the Children's Week quests, the Venomhide Raptor mount quests and the quest for the seahorse mount...

When Bwemba's spirit is following you, you will not be able to see any nodes. That means you cant do any mining or herb gathering and you can't take part in the fishing competition.

You must finish this quest chain if you want to see STV normally.

OMG - I HATE THESE DANG QEUSTS, ITS BAD ENOUGH TO DO ONES THE REGISTER -AND TAKES FOREVER, then when u get ones that are bugged> omg i just wanna smak the programmer silly, to all the above advice. been there done that - now im waiting for a GM LOLi cant believe i spend good money to be frustrated like this - not a fun game at all!

if Bwemba's spirit somehow leaves you...just logout, log back in. At least, that's what I did to get past this glitch.

Anyone figure out the issue with the phasing issues after completing the quest. I went to Grom'gol to get a recipe to power level cooking and had to side track to do this quest line only to find out it was still phased.

Quest seems bugged for me today. i started the chain 2 weeks ago, i'm upto the part where i kill "Mauti" the black panther. Get to STV and suddenly her ghost has disappeared, kill the cat thinking she might appear... but no. Hmmm ok?, abandon the quest, go all the way back to Org to reaccept then go back to STV. Her spirit is with me and has a yellow " ! " which would be the "Mauti" quest which i abandoned. Go to accept it & she disappears again! *sigh* i want that Panther Cub but cbf with it today... Just sharing my experience, i see this chain obviously has alot of bugs after reading through other people's comments on Wowhead

Super buggy quest line and it doesn't even reward Darkspear Trolls Reputation. Kind of a waste of time outside of the gold.

Problem: The emissary isn't there. :-( I have no problem with Bwemba, I can just log out and in to get her back.

I just did this quest on another toon a few days ago with no issue, so I know where he is suppose to be.

i had just compleated quest at voljin they flew away wile they were talking it would not let me complete bewambas spirit quest so i droped quest and picked it back up and now i cant finish it any words of advice.

Just run in and out of the door where Vol'jin i standing and it will trigger the conversation between Vol'jin and your spirit, and u'll be able to complete the quest!

Once you start and complete this quest chain you cannot see the gurubashi daily quest guy Stone Guard Twohide or the arena battlemaster :) so they cannot be done untill you do so.

WHERE IS VOL'JIN ! Yes everyone says in Booty Bay, but WHERE in booty bay specifically? I've covered every square foot and can't find this NPC. ! Getting a bit sick of the spirit next to me all the time to tell you the truth. Wanna finish this quest just to get rid of it.

Like many others, one of my character's is bugged and Vol'jin is not next to Revilgaz/Seahorn as he should be. I have tried abandoning the quest and retaking it. I have tried resetting my UI completely, and going into BB with no addons. I have tried taking the boat from Ratchet, I have tried walking/riding in from the coast, and nothing makes Vol'jin appear for my druid.

She's apparently the one that's bugged, as I was able to do it with my paladin just the day before.

I did talk to a GM, and he had me try most of the above, but again, no luck. He wouldn't help me further, either, by finishing the quest for me. I have tried waiting for multiple server restarts, nothing.

At this point, I have given up on my druid being able to complete the quest and just dropped it.

WARNING

This quest !@#$s up any attempt to do the Stranglethorn Vale Fishing Extravaganza. You end up in a different phase everywhere but Booty Bay itself, which of course is the one place you can find no pools for the Extravaganza. And the phase you're in: no fishing pools.

Why are you guys all repeating the same thing over and over and over again? You see this is just about all posts everywhere. Someone already said what to do if you lose the spirit, then don't repeat it 10,000 times. Give different helpful information like where are the people you need to warn.

This is why I came here and I'm sure many others do and all we see is the same stuff repeated by everyone here.

You guys are so helpful, it's ridiculous!

To any druids also hated with Booty Bay, a flying mount is preferable to flight form when trying to position Bwemba's spirit close enough to Vol'jin (the emissary) and turning in quests, as you get knocked out of form if you are shot.

IF YOU LOST BWEMBA AT ANY POINT:

Abandon the quest Bwemba's spirit and then go back to your home city and accept it again. Once you zone back into Stranglethorn, her spirit should reappear. :)

This is not working... No npc at this location... Running through the door stealthed and not still get me killed. With the guards hitting me for 50k I am dead after two hits and a gunshot. I put in a ticket hope that helps

If the solution is what I'm about to write, then you won't be needing it: I had completed booty bay interests way before, today after a lot of tries I finally managed to take the spirit till booty bay (had to let him see the various fight in bambala, grom'grol, hardwrench hidaway), so I went where fleet master seahorn is and there was vol'jin; they started talking and I was able to complete it.

After that I came back to grom'grol and trolls were still fighting.

From here on, no problems, I just hearthstoned to dalaran, took again the zeppelin, checked at grom'grol and it was back to normal.

If you Can't see Vol'Jin then try going to Grom'Gol Base Camp. There should be a quest there that is a chain which will unlock him :)

Wow this task is a pita. I can not find Vol'jin any were. My spirit is with my and Ive reloaded UI and logged out and back in. Not helping at all.

OK... after reading all of these posts and having sporadic information and details of this quest, I thought I would give a condensed version of this chain to hopefully clarify a few things I wanted to know, and went through myself.

First off, Vol'jin, will NOT appear at Booty Bay until the chain is complete. I was trying to turn in "Bwemba's Spirit" because she was following me with that quest. I looked up this quest pointing me to Booty Bay, by flight master Gringer. Vol'jin WILL appear on the steps up from the flight master when the chain is done. So do not waste your time going to Booty Bay until the end. There will be a yellow question mark to point you there when you are done. If no question mark, then you aren't done.

Secondly, the quest chain itself: You will start the actual chain at the Bambala area in Northern Stranglethorn. (approx 65, 40) I dont know the actual quests name as I am writing this upon completion of the chain, but the first quest involves healing trolls on the ground. around the area that you picked up the quest in Bambala. Turn in that in Bambala once again. Do the quest given there and you will get one to go to the Nessingway Camp, where you will get another quest involving a cat you kill, then another cat comes along and grabs the dwarf dude. You follow the white flares that he tosses down for you as the cat runs away with him.

Follow along, that part of chain and you'll eventually end up in Grom Gol where you help fight off the Gurubashi Trolls as a quest. Then you get another quest in Grom Gol, so just follow the yellow question marks and you will end up in Booty Bay where the "Bwemba's Spirit" is turned in and Vol'jin finally appears in the area up the steps from the flight master there.

Here's the tricky part, well not tricky, but you have to have patience. You can turn in the quest that sent you there, but you still have "Bwemba's Spirit" to turn in. I stood there next to Baron Revilgaz for well over a minute and FINALLY the ghost of Bwemba's floats over and has a conversation with Vol'jin.

Here in lies the end of the quest chain.

I hope this helped as I found no detailed information on the the steps to complete this chain. Make sure you do ALL the quests that pertain to this area. When I read other posts on this page, they all referred to the end of the chain, not how to get there. So the quests I picked up for the Nessingway portion is actually part of this chain.

Hope I'm not being redundant. I just wanted to make sure I covered everything.

One last thing to note. I never had an issue with Bwemba's image (floating behind me) disappearing on me as other posts have stated. Looks like they may have fixed the glitch..

Odd that the designers relegated this quest to Sranglethorn which is designated low level. Might be something to do with the lack of imagination in the storyline and the annoying avatar.

Very poor quality imo.

I would like to state that Vol'jin may only be talked to when the entire chain has been completed from to Blamba all the way to making contact then and only then will Vol'jin (the dark emissary) be even visible in booty bay on the deck taht perches above the walkway connected to the Inn. If some one would have said this lol some where in here or at least in the first 50 post which I read it would have saved me over two hours of walking around and another two hours of reading advice from some what helpful to not at all, lolz. Any ways I hope this helps some one happy hunting :)

I'm Faunna on the Dentarg,Here is what I did once I did the Servants poison quest.

I killed Mauti after following him. I went through the whole conversation from the ghost. Then the quest hover over the cat's body didn't take. I exited the quest, went back to Org. and obtained it again. Then I went to Booty Bay first. Of course that didn't help because you have to finish the Mauti quest. So I went to Mauti, killed him again, and listened to the ghost again. I don't know if clicking on Mauti's body did the trick but Bwemba finally spoke and I completed that quest.

I realise this is a fairly exclusive club, but I don't have Pandaria yet. I am able to battle pets and have been enjoying doing so with my limited Cataclysm capabilities. In entering STV, I noticed a strange effect: there were no critters to battle! I still had this quest in my log from way back and figured it might have something to do with my woes. After reading all the helpful comments here, I followed the quest chain to the end and was not disappointed. As soon as I completed the final leg in BB, I started seeing (and capturing) all the little pets throughout the zone. If you are in a similar situation, I hope this encourages you to keep at it until you can battle with your own pets in this zone.

I suggest not taking this quest chain on a Sunday if you also plan on fishing in the Stranglethorn Tournament. It phases the area (as I discovered).

Keep doing the other quest line and you will eventually end up in Booty Bay to turn it in. Once you complete the quest chain you should still be left with this one and get a new quest from Baron Revilgaz. Stand by the Baron, not mounted and Bwemba's Spirit should stand there with you. After a short period of time the quest will complete itself.

This took me a while to figure out, I think it's pretty buggy. Some people claim to have finished it the moment they got by the Baron, others like me didn't.

Note that this quest persists in your quest log until you have completed the full quest chain involving several key locations throughout all of STV and the Cape. When you receive the dungeon quest (Booty Bay's Interests) wait by the emissary until the conversation ensues and your quest is completed.

As all the other comments are saying, stand nearby dismounted. Another thing to pay attention to is where Bwemba is. Mine was stuck on a roof elsewhere in Booty Bay. Once I flew away and back to unstick it, the conversation started shortly and I was able to complete the quest.

Yep, there's a little conversation between Bwemba, Vol'jin, and the Baron that needs to complete for the turn-in. You can grab the quest from the Baron before this one is completed, though, which is a little confusing.

Just sit there and wait for the conversation to start and end then turn in. Voila.

I had picked the (Booty Bay's Interest)Интересы Пиратской Бухты quest inside ZG and was still able to finish this quest without actually getting it from the Baron.

Fun questline imo.

ok after you get the pet, if you wish to do the remainder of the quests you can, for gold and guild rep. but there is no achievement or anything else. just saying.

Thanks all for the tips provided. I enjoyed the chain better by knowing I could follow all quests and eventually complete the initial one about finding the other emissary. Before reading the comments here I was a bit frustrated searching all over in the jungle...roflmao.

By the way, I logged out while flying next to the Rebel Camp, the spirit was on my side (this was before the quest that asks you to defend the rebel camp for some minutes). I was afraid of losing the spirit after the log out...when I logged in again, the spirit was still there, floating next to me.

It was kinda tricky though when we arrived to Booty Bay to talk to the boss and then the Baron...I was flying when approaching the deck and somehow the spirit of Bwemba got stuck in places...so I had to fly out again a bit (towards the bay) and then return slowly to the deck, making sure the spirit was next to me as I approached the deck more and more... It seems to me the quest probably was designed for people to walk at that point?

Anyway, enjoyed this chain a lot and completed my 1500 quests achievement in the process. One of the parts I enjoyed the most was following the flares of the kidnapped hunter and getting the companion panther cub !

Yep if you cant figure out what do with her after and shes still follows you around just stand up there with the baron for awhile, get a soda or a snack and come back and it will be done. Buggy blizzard quests.

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE HATED:

Go to any other Steamwheedle Cartel town and do the cloth quest until you're neutral with Booty Bay. Any Steamwheedle Cartel rep gain also gives you some rep in ALL other Steamwheedle Cartel rep. Or you can also kill Bloodsail and Southsea Pirates for Steamwheedle rep.

For those that are HATED by Booty Bay:

Go to any of the other Steamwheedle Cartel towns and do the cloth quest as any Cartel rep gains give some rep for all other Cartel factions. Or you can also kill Southsea and Bloodsail pirates for rep.

You just have to fly a bit around Vol'jin and Bwemba will eventually land on the ground, and start talking with him, after that you'll be able to complete the quest.

The hot spot is the front of the boat behind the baron. When ti comes time to finish up the quest, log out then back in go behind the baron and target Voljin. This will start the finish.

Pretty much what everyone else has said. Booty bay is the hand in, i think it is best to do all the other quests then hand both in at BBay. You will then get sent to ZG for a heroic 5 man quest Called "Booty Bay's Interests". Good luck all and have fun!

Not sure if anyone has stated this but... I did not turn in the quest (drunk lol) when I got the dungeon quest. Was checking my log a few days later and noticed this. While flying to Booty Bay, Bwemba spawned beside me as I got into SSV and I turned in the quest while flying in the air. No need to go to BB. Cheers

Erm, I finished the quest a couple of days ago so I may not remembering correctly, but in order to finish the quest all you have to do is talk to Vol'jin (since he is the Darkspear emmissary you've been reading about all along) and initiate the conversation between him and Bwemba.

The thing is when someone starts it everyone in the vicinity gets the quest completion. Probably that's why many people think that it's bugged and you have to stand somewhere. You don't and it's not, it's just that someone else actually started the conversation and you just happened to be standing by, thus making you think that it was bugged and you had to find the right spot.

Come to think of it it's kinda funny :P

I cant figure out these quest. I've gone through every one of the posts, but getting no smarter. I did the chain, and when I came down to Vol'jin I delivered the chainquest and obtained the ZG quest and left. I didnt wait for the dialog to be ended and went to SW. When I got there I figured I had to talk to Vol'jin to get the quest done. I went back to Vol'jin but Bwemba would not appear, so i restartet the quest, got back to Booty Bay but still no Bwemba.

Anyone got the same problem and someone knows what I have to do?

It has nothing to do with being mounted. I never dismounted and it took about 2 minutes floating there mounted to complete.

This quest bugs out alot, to reset your spirit you can fly out of BB and land and she will reappear. Also, if you get stuck for good, you can drop the quest and retake it back in SW. When you go to turn the quest in, you will have a yellow question mark at the dude, but if you flew up there instead of running into the building and going all the way up she won't start the RP to complete. So, leave BB, spirit comes back, and then run into the Inn and up to the NPC to start RP to get your quest complete. Hope that helps.

The bug has been bugging me for days however today i dismissed my ghoul and flew so i was stood on the platform next to him, dissmounted then the convo started.

Just check she deff follows you as she vanished a few times for me.

After you complete the quests do you unphase from them? Otherwise can you now go to the same places it sent you to and they are back to normal.

I don't see any tools like that above the comment box. I will delete this soon if it's not answered. I was completely frustrated by this quest line! "Bwemba's Spirit" followed me around without me seeing the "?" sign to complete. I lost her several times while flying around, but was able to get her back with "logging out/ logging in". As skeletalroach said in his post:Keep doing the other quest line and you will eventually end up in Booty Bay to turn it in."

After completing "Bad Supplies" I finally received "Making Contact", flew back to Booty Bay, where a troll named "Vol'jin" then appeared. After turning in, Baron Rivalgaz gave me "Booty Bay's interest" I stood unmounted and Bwemba finally gave me question mark for completion after about 2 min.

i found a way to do the quest when your hate with bb.just fly to the 2 npcs for the quest an wait a moment.when the guards will shot on you,you must fly in the near of the npcs,then the will beginn to talk.when they will beginn to talk youst fly a little bit higher that you come out of combat.all you need to do than is chillin on the house an wait.try it a few times when first try not work.hope it was helpfull.

So, if you were like me who got the Bloodsail Admiral title before and was too lazy to get to neutral again with Booty Bay, u are screwed if u try to turn in this quest. Since you have to stand RIGHT next to Baron Revilgaz and u are hated, you get attacked by lvl 85 Bruisers who will literally 3-5 shot u doing 30k each hit. I sent in a ticket, and we'll see what happens...

So we get the quest in SW, "find the Emissary". I go down to STV & all kinds of craziness is happening and people need help. I did the quest chain which included going to all the different camps before reporting back to Booty Bay to complete where Vol'jin is waiting for you. *Spoiler Alert* The Emissary for Bwemba's spirit is Vol'jin who appears by Baron after that long chain. I read being mounted glitches Bwemba's Spitit completing & while finishing I was probably in flight form & didn't complete. After I accepted & completed and Vol'jin went away. Now he isn't returning therefore I can't complete quest & get stv unphased. Suggestions? I've logged in & out, Stood on Baron (not mounted), abandoned and reaccepted... all the previous suggestions. I noticed most comments are focused on Baron Revilgaz, but Vol'jin is the Emissary we need for credit. He's just not coming back for some reason. =/

After being frustrated about STV being phased out I tried to complete this quest. Unable to get the two of them to talk I abandoned the quest several times, logged in and out with no luck. I found as soon as I abandoned the quest Booty Bays Interests Bwemba’s Spirit immediately began to talk to Baron Ravilgaz.

Just a note - if you find yourself unable to complete this quest due to being hostile with booty bay, you can always drop the quest to phase back to normal booty bay. You can then get back to grinding Bloodsail or whatever to restore your reputation and complete the quest later.

definitely buggy... dismounted at the tavern ran thru to the top, stood there for about 10 mins... nothing. Flew out of the zone, ran from the front entrance of bb, standing next to the baron 10 mins later, still nothing. >.<

Two things I ran into with this quest:

First off, do NOT bother trying to do the STV fishing daily until you have fully completed this quest chain. I had it half done, and attempted to do it today, only to discover that in the phased zone NO fishing pools at all spawn. I made two laps of the whole zone before figuring out what the problem was haha. Oh well, always next week.

Secondly, if you are a pet collector or going for loremaster, and have any issues for the zone unphasing after the quest, just do a quick log off. Mine seemed stuck in troll-attack mode even an hour later when I came back into the zone from Stormwind, but the log off straightened it out.

Warning - Do not accept this quest unless you're prepared for the whole of Stranglethorn Vale to be invaded by Level 85 zombies (many that don't drop loot). There's no turning back once you accept it, and bearing in mind many Arch digs are found in the two zones, it's not a decision to take lightly!

Recently started to play WoW again and got this quest from SW which is completly annoying me.First the npc doesn't say where to go exaclty just you have to go to STV and there it will guide you which it doesn't.

So was forced to check wowhead which I don't like when questing.

Reading all the posts I understand that (for alliance) you need to stand near Baron for a conversation to start. Several people mention about Vol'jin being there aswell? But can't find him anywhere in STV. Nevertheless stood roughly 2 hours next to Baron and nothing happend.Quest bugged or wtf is going on?

She follows you everywhere (including the rest room), winging these goofy lines at you about some subtle distinctions between the Zandalar Trolls and the Darkspear Trolls. I flew up on my mount to turn in one quest and could not get them to talk. I dismounted and it still didnt work. I then jumped down to the front of the inn, waited until Bwemba appeared next to me, then ran through the inn and right on top of Baron Revilgaz which triggered the conversation immediately. This quest was clearly intended to be done all linearly.. god forbid your queue pop, and you forget where you were on things...

Should you find yourself wandering aimlessly trying to get the stupid ghost with the grey '?' over her head to go away:

-Get on a flight path, and fly to booty bay.-Upon landing, walk over to Vol'jin.

"Vol'jin", though never mentioned in the quest text, and not appearing as a quest objective on the map, is standing on the random boat-prow we're all familiar with. As less clearly stated before, walk up to him, they'll chat, quest complete.omfg annoying.

With the help of Wowhead, I was able to complete this quest on my warrior and my pally. For some reason, I couldn't complete it on my mage. Tried every suggestion posted here. Twice. Waited weeks and then came back to it after wifey had good luck on her warrior. Still no complete. Opened a ticket. Blizz gave me the same instructions found here; namely, dismount outside inn, run upstairs, go to "turn in point" (note: they didn't specify exactly where that was! great comms.) and quest will complete. Riiiiiight. Didn't happen. Again. So I clicked on the "Need More Help" button in the ticket window and logged. When I came back, quest was complete and ticket was gone, so I assume Blizz completed it for me. Rather that than nothing.

But I'm now wondering whether having my companion out (Red Moth) might have bugged the quest? I know I had it out when I tried to complete the quest yesterday; probably had one of them out all those other times too. Maybe the game is confused between a companion and Bwemba's spirit. Never occurred to me to consider this before. I don't remember seeing my companion, so it might have been pre-empted by Bwemba's spirit or it might have been there and I just didn't notice, but that's the only thing I can think of on my side that might have bugged the quest.

Sooooo, long-winded way of finally getting to my suggestion: dismiss your companion before you enter the STV zone and hook up with Bwemba's spirit! Good luck!

If you're been to ZG before completing this chain, and have completed Интересы Пиратской Бухты in there already, there will be no follow-up given to you after this one. Log out and back in if you want to un-phase STV immediately, and you're done with the chain.

Ok so I had relogged, abandoned and restarted and did the whole go through the inn and I was still not having the quest complete.

My problem was I am working on loremaster and had at another time abandon quests to make room for another zone I was working on. So Связной was abandoned but Дух Бвембы wasn't.

I am sure for many of you this is "well duh". But just in case someone else encounters this.

The questline works where Дух Бвембы is one of the first quests received but the last to turn in. As someone said earlier this quest line is very linear. I ended up using quest completist to see what was going on with the quest line. Связной is needed for Дух Бвембы so don't go to Booty Bay until you have it.

So like someone else said heaven forbid you have a queue pop, abandon the quest for others or in general lose your place in the quest line cause it isn't that straight forward on how to get back on it.

For those of you wishing to do other things in Strangle thorn and everything is gone. Log out then back in. AFTER you have completed this quest.

Another note: IF you are hated with Booty bay you can dive bomb Voljin a couple times and she will eventually stay and complete it for you. Then run to you so you can turn it in.

Go to Booty Bay. On top of the Inn is a Goblin named Baron Revilgaz. Just stand close to him unmounted and listen to the conversation... (Be sure the Bwemba's Spirit is there too) Quest Completed :D

Found this out cause I meant to attend Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganzaand couldnt see any schools, (and no ore and herbs either).I momentarely saw nodes on minimap, but they vanished in a second or 2

As a word of warning, while this quest chain is active, you exist in a semi-instanced version of stranglethorn. That means no fishing pools show up. That means on Sunday, don't try doing the fishing competition...

Just to note that there is a huge questline to be followed prior to completion of this one quest. Neutronimity listed it for us. Wish I had looked because I followed it just fine until I completed Bad Supplies. The next questgiver was in the camp, but no ! appeared....probably just quite slow. So, my advice is, check the list of quests and questgivers as you go along.

I think I have a solution for all the people who are having problems with the spirit disappearing! What you should do is logout and move the CACHE, INTERFACE and WTF folders from your WoW folder. Move them, not copy them, they have to be removed from your WoW folder. Of course you should copy them on a separate folder to back them up and not lose your UI settings/addons. Once you've done that, log back in and the spirit will be there, I promise!

Ok to those who could'nt see Vol'jin at all, go back to the rebel camp, defend it, and then complete the last couple quests in the chain and boom there it is. He appears when you return to BB right next to the baron. Finally the witch is gone ! This part of the quest chain might be very easy to skip over as I did when taking a break from WoW for 7 months.

This is the ENDING quest.To do the line go to "Fort Livingston" and follow the quest line that starts there and after 5 or 6 quest you get the end. Simple to the point done. Now young toon go fourth with your mace and your magic helm and quest!

OMG! If you are a druid, that chain quest is EZ. for Defend The Rebel Camp, use bear form instead of Cat Form. To fight the zombies and free the spirits, use bear form. If you're lv 85. ;) Bear form all the way, people! :)

I just managed to get this done by dismounting in front of the Salty Sailor Tavern at Booty Bay and running in and up through the tavern and coming out the door to access the bit of boat where Baron Revilgaz and Fleet Master Seahorn are standing. This triggered the conversation to start. I had previously just flown up there and dismounted and this had not triggered the conversation. Once they had spoken the ! turned to a ? and I was finally able to turn in the quest and remove the phasing...

(Hoping this isn't a repeat, read most of the comments first) if you are "losing" Bwemba: none of the suggestions worked for me. But entering ZG solo (Heroic, but that shouldn't matter) and walking back out of the instance "restored" her pestering shadow. She started following me around STV, quests worked etc. Hope this helps someone.

Holy hell! is this quest bugged big time. So I stood in front of Baron for 4 hours and nothing. I logged out came back another day stood in front of him for another 2 hours and nothing again. I did this for a few days.. now today, finally I stood in front of him for about 30 minutes and I was finally able to turn it in. - I included a screenshot. :)

Nothing was happening when I was waiting by the Baron - I noticed I had a quest available by him, so I completed what he had for me and Fleet Master Seahorn finally showed up.

Unfortunately, no conversation is happening. I've done /reload console ui, logged out and back in, and even jumped down and ran back up through the tavern several times. Still nothing. :/

EDIT: After lots of frustration, I finally gave up and submitted a ticket. A GM checked into my quest progress and discovered that I had missed a side quest called "The Hunter's Revenge" and directed me to Grent Direhammer, near the Nesingwary Expedition. I actually found the quest I needed IN the Nesingwary camp; Hemet Nesingwary Jr. gave me "The Hunter's Revenge". From there, I was able to continue the quest chain. I thought that, since I could pick up the Bwemba's Spirit quest, I should be able to go straight to Booty Bay and complete it; but the rest of the chain does have to be completed as well. My issue arose because I'd started the chain and abandoned in the middle, not knowing there was a pet at the end; you can use an addon to make sure that you're not having the same issue.

I'm going to lose it. I keep losing Bwemba! The first time I just quit the quest chain, went back to SW and got it again. This time I've tried that twice with no success. THIS QUEST IS NOT BUGGED! I checked with a GM and got an explanation.

This quest starts at Hero's Call Board in either Stormwind or Orgrimmar and will send you to the docks, where you will find a troll named Bwemba. If you do not have a quest at the board, just go straight to the docks and she will give you the quest. Her location is here for Alliance, and here for Horde.

Many comments here seem to indicate that this quest is terribly bugged, but it's not. REPEAT: THIS QUEST IS NOT BUGGED. It's just that people are trying to complete it without doing the 17 quests in the secondary chain. The Bwemba's Spirit quest will complete if you're standing near someone else when they do it, so it causes people to think that if they just stand near Baron Revilgaz long enough, the bug will eventually go away and they can complete it. Really, it's just coincidence that someone else turned the final step in while standing next to you.

A lot of people only want to do this quest chain to get the Детеныш пантеры pet, but if you stop once you've received the cub, Bwemba's annoying spirit will nag you for eternity. To get rid of her, complete the whole chain. It literally takes just a few minutes if you're level 90.

This will make your life easier - run this script to see which of the secondary quests you have completed, and finish this chain. This script is long, so use an addon like Paste to be able to paste the entire script without breaking it up into smaller pieces.

Pretty sure you've done everything? Can't get rid of that evil spirit? Go back to Booty Bay, and click on Voljin! I'm not sure if the clicking on was actually necessary, but I did, and finally that evil banshee gave me the ? for the complete, and stopped nagging and following me!

PS I actually was able to complete the part inside zulgrub solo on my 90 destro lock. Quite well geared, though I died a couple times, since it's been a couple years since i did that instance and had to remember how to complete it. (I also had to put my void walker on passive for phase 2) and remember to burn down the chains once the troll smashed them.

I was able to accept this quest at Stormwind Harbor.However, I could not complete it, or find the Darkspear Emissary anywhere.I've read a lot of comments and forums and I could not seem to find the solution, so I sent a ticket to a GM.

It appears that this quest, although you can accept it, is totally dependant of other quests that you need to do first.If for some reason you have abandoned those quest, you cannot complete this one.I didn't remember that I did that, that's why the quest wasn't working.The GM solved my problem. I was able to finish it.

If you are on the quest and, for some reason, the spirit of Bwemba is not with you in Stranglehorn, just relog. It will fiz the problem :)

Here's how I completed this quest while being hated with Booty Bay

You have to have Bwemba with you, target Voljin, and fly directly on top of him so you and your mount are covering the troll NPC. If you get the right spot, the dialogue will start and the bruisers will ignore you even when they get close. In my opinion, this quest is bugged if you have to do it like this in order for the quest to finish without getting almost instantly killed.

I hope this saves some of the frustration that this quest gave me.

Being on this quest (and following quests from this questline) makes you phase out for other Stranglethorn quests. Couldn't hand in the arena quest nor do the bear killing quest or other quests I was on at that zone. Dropping thos quest made me able to do those quests. Finishing the questline helps too

This seems to be a ghostly follower that accompanies you in the Stranglethorn Vale quests for the new Rise of the Zandalari content. She follows you through the whole thing (so far for me anyways I haven't finished it yet) and here's a fun fact: Bwembas that follow players of the other faction will attack you even though you can't see them. I thunderclapped near an Alliance to kill a quest mob to find out Bwemba was hitting me for decent amounts of damage. They thought it was funny. There seems to be 2 versions of this on wowhead so I assume the other one is for the opposing faction.

If Bwemba disappears on you, try leaving Stranglethorn Vale and returning (it only happened for me when I passed through a loading screen, simply flying over into another zone and then right back didn't do the trick). Either run into Zul Gurub and then leave, or take the Zeppelin to Orgrimmar/Undercity. When you return, she should be there.

She seems to be worse than any Demon/Ghoul/Hunter pet in that respect. That was one of many reasons I dislike the entire quest chain.

Someone on wowhead has been on a downrate kick, so please dont downrate this, tho it may seem obvious to some =P

Ive abandoned the quest chain at this point & am not finding a way to get it back. Does anyone know a way to get it back? Thanks much in advance!

& Yes, i also had some choice words for how "in my face" Bwemba was! Which was a main point of me abandoing the chain! lol It was beyond annoying but now i wanna finish it lol

To finish the quest, after you have done the quests, go to the Explorers' League Digsite: Stranglethorn and pick up the quest. It finishes in Booty Bay at Vol'jin.

You have to complete a series of SIDE stranglethorn quests. After finding Maul the brother, and killing some serpents and curing people, you're eventually sent to Booty Bay to report. IT's there, after listening to the NPC's talk, that you complete Bwemba's Spirit.

This NPC starts a quest chain that is annoying to complete but will reward you with a battle pet. Here's the details.

The quest starts at Hero's Call Board in either Stormwind or Orgrimmar and will send you to the docks, where you will find a troll named Bwemba. If you do not have a quest at the board, just go straight to the docks and she will give you the quest. Her location is here for Alliance, and here for Horde.

Many comments here seem to indicate that this quest is terribly bugged, but it's not. It's just that people are trying to complete it without doing the 17 quests in the secondary chain. The Bwemba's Spirit quest will complete if you're standing near someone else when they do it, so it causes people to think that if they just stand near Baron Revilgaz long enough, the bug will eventually go away and they can complete it. Really, it's just coincidence that someone else turned the final step in while standing next to you.

If you are not level 85 and you click on Bwemba, the window that pops up says:

I be an emissary from da Darkspear trolls. Da thret we face, also bea threat to da Alliance. You willin' to help out da Darkspear, <race>?

If you click on Commander Sharp (the guard talking to Bwemba) he says one of the following:

• Why don't these trolls just deal with their problems on their own?• These trolls have just shown up demanding our help.• I can barely understand what these trolls are trying to say.

Ok, So I was in the middle of one of the quests where you have to talk to bwemba's spirit who's following you when I got a dungeon. Make sure to take both of Bwemba's quests. You'll need them both at the same time in order to be phased into the proper version of Stranglethorn.
