Can be traded for the BoP crafting materials created from the work orders of your profession buildings (and daily cooldowns on professions), as well as the Sorcerous materials (new motes / elemental resource used in crafting). You can also trade them for Savage Blood, the rare crafting material which is only otherwise obtainable via the Barn building.The Horde vendor "Appraiser" Sazsel Stickfingers is located near the Tower of War (the one with the Ashran portal) at level 3.
These aren't currently used in crafting directly.

You can buy crafting materials such as Hexcloth and Warpaint for these from the Primal Spirit vendor in your garrison. Most items are a 10 to one ratio (so 10 Primal Spirit for 1 Hexcloth) Only exception is the Purple blood which costs 50 Primal Spirit for 1.Комментарий от Xazax

At the current rate of Work Orders (4 hours) it will take 20.83 days to get Искусный зверолов, which is needed to purchase the level 3 Barn. So until then, you cannot get the level 3 Barn to start farming Дикая кровь. Keep in mind, these numbers are based on one character, but the achievement is account-wide. If you have 10 characters doing this each day, the achievement will go 10 times as fast.However, if you simply need to queue the work order instead of completing each one, it should take 18.5 days to simply place all of them, at a rate of 14 work orders per building.
Furthermore, if you have Хранилище Уровень 1, then it will take 17.6 days to complete this achievement, since you get an additional 5 work orders per building.
Adding a follower with the Снятие шкур trait will also increase work orders and further decrease time, if you only need to start work orders and not finish them.
Remember, work orders do not complete at the same time, one must complete before the next can begin.
Until you can get the level 3 Barn, you are better off farming Первобытный дух and trading 50 of them in for Дикая кровь.

I hate to be the guy who whines about equality in comment threads. But, I've been skinning left and right in Draenor with no luck getting any Primal spirits. Apparently you can get them from mining in zones as low as shadowmoon valley. The thing that is happening here is that as a leatherworker, I now lean towards getting mining instead of skinning as my secondary. Because I can purchase Raw Beast Hide on the auction house, but Primal Spirits are bop. So why not get mining, sell ores and purchase Raw Beast Hide to get my Primal spirits? For reference, I use the Primal spirits to purchase Burnished leatherleather from the spirit trader to craft gear. I would absolutely love to be the guy in the wrong here, feel free to shut me up and point me in the direction I need to go in order to skin Primal spirits.

Best place to farm these? The Pit in northern Gorgrond. Grab the buffs (One is a hand cannon, the other is a fire crystal) spec into a tanking spec or something that's really good at kiting and gather a group of elite mobs. AoE them down and enjoy doing 50-100k DPS for a short period. I've found that the drop rate is about 20% when you're alone, and for some reason goes up to about 60% when you're with another person.As a Prot Warrior, I was able to solo farm 50 Primal Spirits (One Savage Blood) in about 2 hours. With a Disc Priest friend present to farm Apexis Crystals, (Those drop like crazy as well) I got 50 in a little under 45 mins.

Edit: Heads up, this was nerfed. You can only farm these mobs on days when the Daily is The Pit. Drop rate is still amazing on those days though!

I haven't fully figured it out yet but these seems to drop in a rotation of some sort each day. It doesn't seem to depend on what garrison assault daily quest you have, either. If anyone figures out how exactly it works, let me know, because there are mobs in Talador (Shattrath City) and Spires of Arak (Skettis) that drop these that I'd like to farm but right now neither of them are dropping them.I really don't like this new dynamic loot table bullcrap. If mobs drop something, they should always drop it. Their loot tables shouldn't change from day to day.

Amending my previous comment - this item is bugged and sometimes displays as a blue item, and majority of the time green like here on WoWHead.Drop rate might have been increased, am getting 2-3 per node more frequently than before.

As a BM hunter with ilvl 646 i took the flight path to "everbloom overlook, gorgond" and went south and on 40 minutes of farming i've got 15 primal spirit and loot worth 608G. I think it could have been a little bit more but some ally killed my follower very early of the farming. (i did NOT have the gladiator buff in my outpost wich i think could increase it even more)when i have 10 stacks i pretty much 1-2 hit most monsters.
i havent tried that many places yet but so far this has been the best both money and primal wise for me solo.
there is also plenty of wood for those with lumbermill in theire garrison.
A druid in cat form tried to kill me while i had Stampede activated and my pets killed the druid before the stun even dissapeard on me wich made me lol.

Pro tip: If you will be trading in your Primal Spirits for any of the Sorcerous elements, check the auction house on your realm before doing so.EDIT: Prices have come down a fair bit since this was originally posted, but definitely the advice to check the prices first is still good!

Finally got my 11 characters to 100 and set up Level 3 mine and herb gardens for them. After they made their runs, for the day, I pulled in a total of 150 primal spirits.The herb garden contributed very little; maybe 2 or 3 per toon. The mining carts often dropped 3 per cart.

**Updated for patch 6.2.3**If you're considering buying Первобытный духs through the daily garrison trader, then using them to buy Дикая кровьs or Sorcerous elements from the Primal trader, you may be better off auctioning the trade goods and buying Bloods/elements from the auction house, making extra gold in the process.
Once you know the average auction values of what you want and what you have (The Undermine Journal tracks them by realm and region), compare their prices according to these formulas:
1 Sorcerous element = 15 Primal Spirits = 3 crafted parts = 15 trade goods1 Savage Blood = 25 Primal Spirits = 5 crafted parts = 25 trade goods
For example, if one Дикая кровь sells for more than 25 Истинная железная руда, then the conversion is ideal. If it sells for less, auction the Ore. Remember that some herbs and ore can have different values.

#MakeTheseNon-SoulboundIt really feels like its time to unbind these. I don't recall exactly when Spirit of Harmonies became non soulbound but if i recall right it was still MoP when this currency became tradeable. It seems like an oversight that Primal Spirits haven't reached this status 6 months into the next expansion.
These are still useful for primal weaving to make cloth for 30 slot bags.

I noticed her last name is "Perez" backwards. Googling "Ashley Perez" turns up someone who writes for Buzzfeed though she doesn't seem to post anything WoW related. With the addition of the recipes that allow you to make extra cooldown mats with Primal Spirits, you can probably get a better bargain if you use said recipes instead of buying from the vendor..The following scenarios assume that you have already used your cooldown and that you have access to the common crafting mats.
With ten Spirits, you can buy a single piece of Hexweave Cloth. However, with the Tailoring recipe, the Hexweave will only cost one Spirit instead of ten. With the spirits you spend on each single crafting mat you buy from this vendor, you can make ten of the same crafting mat for the same price. However, Primal recipes require more of the normal crafting mats so you have to ask yourself questions like, "What's more valuable? 9 Spirits or 10 Sumptuous Fur?" I'd say nope, but that's just me.
If you have a profession building that requires mats that you can't make yourself, you might be tempted to use this vendor. Then again, you can just force your slaves minions pets followers to make you the mats themselves.
Alchemist Transmutation Stuff (for things that aren't actually crafted profession mats)
If we're talking Spirits > Catalysts > Blood, it takes one spirit per Primal Alchemy (for the Catalyst) and fifty Catalysts for one Blood, it costs as much as it does on the vendor. BUT. The Spirits > Catalysts requires a large amount of herbs so, if Bloods cost the same in spirits, you might as well buy it from the vendor. It's overall cheaper and there is no daily cooldown.
For the Sorcerous Elements, the vendor sells them for 25 Spirits and the Alchemy recipe takes four Catalysts for ten to transmute one element to another.Let's say we need 10 Sorcerous Earth. Buying it from the vendor at 25 spirits apiece would equal 250 spirits. If we have 10 of any other element, a transmutation would be much cheaper, requiring only four Spirits, 1 per Catalyst, 4 Catalysts per transmutation.

Be very cautious when spending your hard-earned Primal Spirits on Savage Blood.Just above the Blood is Sorcerous Fire and while the icons appear obviously different it is all too easy to click on the wrong hot-looking icon.
I was talking to a friend while buying up Bloods and before you know it, had bought four Fires by accident. No refunds unless you want to fuss with a GM ticket.

So, after looking at the page for what she sells and their costs and comparing them to the in-game data, I can say that prices on the site are completely out of date and some items she no longer sells even.Current In-Game values:Crafting Mats that are profession-specific (i.e. Taladite Crystal and the like): 5 Primal Spirits.Sorcerous mats: 15 Primal Spirits.Savage Blood: 25 Primal Spirits.
Anything not listed above either by name or category used to cost gold and those have been removed from this vendor.
